Blogging can be tough
Blogging can be tough for me. I have had countless blogs, I couldn't even begin to remember all of the domain names I have owned. I've gone back and forth with this for close to a decade now (and probably even longer since LJ was around). I love it and I hate it. I love the way I am documenting my life (especially now more that I have Genevieve). I love that these little memories I share, I may not otherwise remember so vividly, if I hadn't documented them. Which gets me to the point of why I hate it. I am opening my life to an entire world of people. Easily accessed right here at my little space (or spaces if you can find my older blogs) of the Internet. Yet, that is part of blogging and still... I blog.
I wanted to start posting more as my life is transitioning from have a "toddler" to a "school aged" child. (By the way, the little bio image on the right sidebar, that's 3 years old! Can you believe it? My baby is going to be 5 soon and I am 29 now, definitely not 26!) And well, our life is nothing like that anymore) I want to remember these important moments and what better way to do that then with blogging? (Well, I am sure there are other ways but this is honestly the easiest for me.) We start the big K in less than a month and boy is our life about to turn upside down.
So here's to hoping (it's basically a bet with myself at this point) that I can stick with blogging and maybe have a "keep sake" for Genevieve when she gets older.
"Welcome to the baby book for parents of the 21st century... blogging." Haha!
